Interior Designer
Joining the More Space Place team in 2008, Michelle brings over 20 years of experience in residential design and construction to every project. She is passionate about organization and space planning, making her career at More Space Place a natural fit. Michelle’s client interaction is top-notch, which consistently produces unique and thoughtful designs.
Originally from Missouri, Michelle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Outside of work, you’ll find Michelle spending time with family at her “happy place” on Lake Keowee, and volunteering with her church’s youth group.
AMANDA CRADY

Interior Designer
Bringing years of design experience and furniture sales, along with construction knowledge, Amanda works with builders and homeowners to marry their desires and budgets into a workable solution for their spaces.
Amanda graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC and has been assisting clients with space planning, color selections, and furniture choices since 1996. She is an award winning, actively involved member of the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
A native of Burnsville, NC , Amanda has called Western North Carolina home throughout her life. When not working, Amanda enjoys gardening and spending time with family on their farm in Candler.

Designer
Growing up in Asheville, it was an easy choice to move back after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Art & Design from North Carolina State University. Alexa started with More Space Place as a Design Assistant in 2019. Since then her role has grown to now managing our installation calendar, acting as a right hand to our lead designers, and beginning to build her own client base. Alexa’s love of décor and organizing has been constant since childhood. She now enjoys working on home projects with her husband, going to the lake with friends and family and traveling.

Interior Design Assistant
Shelby joined our team in 2024 and has enjoyed learning about the custom design world. Shelby handles the administrative tasks in the office such as answering phones, greeting customers, and giving tours around our AVL showroom where she strives to ensure each customer has an enjoyable experience.
Originating from Virginia, she loves living in the mountains. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University and is eager to learn more about the creative and technical aspects of interior design. In her free time, she enjoys reading and being outdoors.

More Space Place is locally owned and operated, serving Western North Carolina since 2002. In 2015, More Space Place began producing its products locally in our own state of the art manufacturing facility located in Hendersonville, North Carolina. As our company has continued to grow over the years, the need for our product has also expanded. In 2017, More Space Place opened another showroom in Greenville, South Carolina to better serve the homeowners and builders of the Upstate while our Asheville team focused on WNC. Our team is made up of 25 employees, from Designer to Installer (and everyone in between), all working together to provide our clients the best service and product available.
